Copper Security

If you have a noise or parking complaint, we recommend first calling Copper Security (970-390-6888) to quickly get the issue resolved. Similar to the STR Hotline, Copper Security keeps track of rental infractions.

 To assist in ensuring that Short Term Rentals are not negatively impacting neighborhoods in Summit County, the County has set up a Short Term Rental Hotline. Homes that are rented short term require a permit. The permit is tied to an agreement to comply with the STR regulations. If a home is violating that agreement, they receive a “strike”. Every property receives 3 “strikes” before action is taken against the property’s license.

Important Information

To report a violation (see list of example violations below), reports must include the exact address listed on the permit. If a variation of the address is listed, the violation will not be registered with the proper address. For example, 0015 Golf Course Drive is not the same as 15 Golf Course Drive. Below is a list of all of the exact addresses to use for complaints in our HOA.

Additionally, do not list the unit number when prompted to. This will cause for the violation to not be properly registered to the address.
